I recently had the honor of speaking to digital marketing students at Oklahoma State University. I just love talking to students that age that are eager to learn and want to know what the real world is like for when they graduate! What you learn in the classroom will help you as you get into the real world, but there is nothing like real world experience! I presented a case study about a local donut shop that came to D2 Branding with an idea. We helped them create their entire brand and digital marketing strategy and now they are franchising! At the end of my presentation, one of the students asked a great question: What digital marketing skills can I learn now so when I am searching for a job I will be ahead of my competition?
I love that question! I love that he was thinking ahead to when he graduated and was looking for a competitive edge to land his dream job!
